Crystal Woodling from the School of Heaven and Earth Crystal is an entrepreneur who is deeply passionate about herbalism, healing, and astrology. Today, she shares her story of growing up in an impoverished region, Appalachia, in a family with a rich history of herbal remedies and generational trauma. She left home with a typewriter and a plan to write poems, and her journey took her to the badlands of South Dakota, where she found healing and a path forward.
Along the way, she has deeply studied creative writing, Hellenistic astrology, and traditional approaches to herbalism. This conversation discusses the ethics of embracing spiritual traditions, facing trauma, and finding a place to belong.
